STD Risk Assessment Quiz: Check Your Risk in 2 Min

Use the risk quiz on this page to get a quick, private read on your STD risk. It takes about two minutes, asks a few questions about your history and symptoms, and points you toward whether testing is worth doing now — no sign-up, no judgment.
Why Take an STD Risk Assessment?
The thing I remind patients of constantly: most STDs cause no symptoms, so "I feel fine" isn't a reliable guide to whether you should test. A quick risk check looks at the factors that actually matter — number of partners, protection use, symptoms, and time since your last test — to help you decide your next step. Think of it as a starting point, not a diagnosis.
How the Quiz Works
Answer a handful of short questions on this page. Based on your answers, you'll get a general sense of your risk level and a suggested next step. Your responses aren't stored or shared — the result is just for you.
What Your Result Means
Lower risk — routine screening on the usual schedule is likely enough.
Moderate to higher risk — testing sooner is worth considering, ideally a full panel that covers the common infections.
Whatever your result, a quiz can't rule an infection in or out — only a test can. See what a full STD panel includes to understand your options.
Test Without Waiting If…
You have symptoms like sores, unusual discharge, or burning with urination.
A partner told you they tested positive.
You had a possible HIV exposure in the last 72 hours (seek same-day care for PEP).
The Bottom Line
A risk assessment is a fast way to gauge whether it's time to test — but it's a guide, not a diagnosis. If your result (or your gut) says it's time, you can get tested and know for sure.
